Personal
Property
Care
must be taken so that students do not lose personal property at school.
Items that many students would have similar of, such as lunch
boxes, gym shoes, calculators, book bags, boy's shirts, etc., are the
cause of frequent cases of mistaken identity or exchange.
Students might also be tempted at times to willfully take
something not belonging to them. Parents
can help to lessen this problem by:
discouraging students from bringing items to school when unnecessary
clearly marking identification on personal property that is brought to
school
questioning children about strange items that are brought home
reaffirming the Christian obligation to respect the rights of others

Money
In School
It
is advised that students not carry any more money at school than is
necessary daily. Payments
of any type that are sent to school with students should be placed in an
envelope that is clearly marked and delivered to the teacher at the
start of the day.
Student
Records
Cumulative
record forms are used for recording attendance, scholastic progress,
test results, health information, and any other information which may
contribute to the understanding of the child.
Teachers, counselors, and administrators have access to these
records. Due to the
confidential nature of these records, they are kept secure in a file in
the main school office.

Transfers
When
a student transfers to another school or graduates into high school,
school records will be forwarded by mail upon written request from the
new school.
Emergency
Form (Family Enrollment)
Emergency
information sheets are distributed to each family at the beginning of
the school year. These
forms should be current in case it is necessary to contact parents
during the school day. If parents cannot be contacted, it is important
to have on file other persons to contact.
