Emergency
School Closing
Emergency
school closings will be announced on radio stations, CKLW, WWJ, or WXYZ,
and TV channels 2, 4, and 7. In case of inclement weather, St. Anne School will be
included in the announcements for the Warren Consolidated Schools.
Extended
Day Program
The
Extended Day program is an auxiliary service which provides before and
after school care for students in Grades K-8 at St. Anne School.
The program is under the sponsorship of the school and parish
administration and is supervised on a daily basis by the program
director and staff.
Fire
Drills
In
accord with City and State regulations, emergency procedures are posted
in each classroom and at least ten fire drills are conducted during the
school year. Drills are
also held in preparation for a possible tornado warning.

Pictures
A
professional photographer takes pictures of each student early in the
school year. Purchase of
these pictures, on a pre-paid basis, is optional.
A school-wide yearbook is also available at the end of the year.
Religious
Education
Religious
instruction is a part of the daily schedule for each class. This
instruction includes the fundamentals of the Faith prayers, and an
understanding of Christian values.
Regular classes are enhanced by participation in Mass, prayer
services, and other activities.
In
addition, sacramental programs are provided under the direction of the
pastor, the religious education coordinator and the teachers for
students in the following grades: Grade 2 - Eucharist, Grade 4 -
Reconciliation, Grade 8 - Confirmation preparation. Informative sessions are also scheduled for parents of those
students in the sacramental programs.

Student
Insurance
Each
student is provided with limited accident insurance coverage under a
program sponsored free-of-charge by the Michigan Catholic Conference.
This insurance is intended to cover expenses which are not
payable by other family insurance.
Extended coverages are also available at your option.
An insurance certificate and further information is distributed
at the start of the school year.

Visitors
St.
Anne School welcomes visits by parents, professional education
organizations, and appropriate community groups to our school.
Such visits should be arranged through the administrators.
All
visitors to the school must report upon entering the building to the
school office. This will
enable us to ensure the safety of our building, the students, and the
visitors.
