Attendance
- St. Anne Roman Catholic Grade School abides by the State of Michigan School Code with regard to
the minimum number of days and hours that are required in the annual
calendar. It is a serious parental obligation to see that children are
in attendance each day. Daily
schedule Absence
- When it is necessary for a student to be absent, the parent is asked
to call the school office by 9:30 a.m.
If we have not heard from you, we will attempt to reach you to
verify the whereabouts of your child.
Attendance is taken twice daily in each classroom. Assignments
- It is the student's
obligation to obtain make-up work during or after an absence. Students
are not excused from assignments or tests because of their illness. Homework
- After a student has been absent for more than one day, parents
may request homework. Please
call in the morning - homework will then be available at the end of the
school day. Tardiness
- A student who arrives late for school must report to the office
for a late slip to be presented to the classroom teacher.
Frequent, unexcused tardiness is considered a matter for
disciplinary action. Early
Dismissal - Students may leave
early only with permission of the principal.
When this is necessary, parents are asked to send in a note of
explanation and then come directly to the office to sign out the
student.
