Student
Conduct
St. Anne Roman Catholic Grade School Discipline Policy
The
ultimate goal of discipline is that all students at
St. Anne Roman Catholic Grade School will
exercise the highest degree of self discipline that is possible for
their age level. Their
actions and attitudes should be appropriate for encouraging the growth
of a greater Christian community. Parents
and school staff share the responsibility for assisting this growth in
each child by providing good example and by encouraging Christian
behavior that recognizes the rights of all others in the community.
Each element of society - the family, the Church, the school, the
classroom, and the community - has its own guidelines for the welfare of
the group. We must assist
each student to know the rules, understand their necessity, and
realize the results of violating these principles.
The ability of
St. Anne Roman Catholic Grade School to provide a safe and responsible environment is based on
general guidelines set forth and enforced with disciplinary procedures.
Each situation will be dealt with on an individual basis, however,
interpretation and implementation is left to the administration of the
school. As a private school, the principal has the final word.

Dress
Code Violations
1. All students are expected to be in accord with the Dress Code on
a daily basis.
2.
Students who are out of uniform in an emergency may be excused without
penalty once per quarter if the parents send a note to the teacher.
3.
If a note is not presented, students will be referred to the office and
parents will be requested to bring in appropriate dress.
4.
If a uniform is not available, the student will be subject to a
detention (Gr. 4-8) or be required to wear a uniform on uniform-free
days.
5.
Repeated violation of the Dress Code would necessitate more severe
action in keeping with The St. Anne discipline policies.
